The Fall Festival is a wonderful event that takes place the Saturday before Halloween. It's a great way to raise money for our school. It is also a fun way to build community among our school, our parish family, and our extended families and friends, and the residents of Yoakum.
The morning of Fall Festival, our school also puts the SJS PTC Jack O'Lantern Jog 5K and Fun Run. This is a great way to be involved in with our school. All are welcome and encouraged to run or walk with us!
In the afternoon, from 4-8 pm, there are so many activities you can enjoy, including: games (ring toss, cake walk, pantry wheel, fish pond, etc.), shopping at the country store, dollar-chance raffles, concessions, turkey meal tickets, and the famous 8th grade haunted house that will give you chills! We also hold our official SJS Fall Festival Raffle Ticket Drawing!
The Fall Festival has a great meal every year, and this year we will be serving Turkey and Dressing with all of the fixings. You can dine-in at the gym or go through the pick-up line at the Family Center.
Every year that we hold the Fall Festical, and every year, everyone who attends helps our school out by showing just how much they care by showing up, having fun and donating money to our school and supporting our efforts. The 5K and Fall Festival are both always so much fun and are always a success because of generous people who are always willing to help out the school in whatever way they can. Anyone is welcome to come and enjoy all the festivities!
